Accommodation

Accommodation has been pre-booked at hotels in different categories in Uppsala. You can make your reservation by filling in your requests on the registration form (Registration opens on February 1, 2007). Hotel rates and available rooms can only be guaranteed if booking is made by April 13, 2007, at the latest, and if you have stated a credit card number on your registration form. Even after this date, we will of course try our best to fulfill your requirements. The hotel rooms are booked on first come — first served basis.

Credit card guarantee
You have to guarantee your reservation with a credit card number on the registration form. The hotel guarantee means that the room will be reserved for you, even if you arrive later than announced. It also means that if you don't arrive the day you have stated, the hotel will charge you a no-show fee for one night. The card number will NOT be used by neither Academic Conferences nor the hotel without your authorization, for any other purpose.

Payment options
No payment for accommodation will be made to Academic Conferences. Payment for the accommodation will be made to the hotel directly upon departure. Even if you have chosen to guarantee your booking with one credit card, you can choose to pay the bill at the hotel with another credit card or by cash or by communicating your payment wishes directly to the hotel. You will receive contact details to the hotel with your confirmation e-mail after sending in your registration form.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, please contact Academic Conferences as soon as possible but not later than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, to avoid cancellation costs.
